Programs and Services

Programs and Services Overview

Art Beyond Boundaries' programs and services reach out to local artists, arts supporters, people with disabilities, and other community members to promote the arts for people of all abilities. Our goal is to make it possible for individuals with disabilities to fully participate in the arts ranging from theater to art exhibitions and concerts, as both spectators and artists.

This goal will be achieved through an ongoing variety of programs and services focused on accessibility and education that will encourage Cincinnati's arts and cultural community to overcome architectural, attitudinal, and programmatic barriers. Current programs include Art for Kids - a variety of children's art activities and events.

In addition to these programs, Art Beyond Boundaries offers value-added services including an Audio Description service to enable people with visual impairments to fully experience an art related event, Technical Consultation service to assist venues with identifying accommodation needs, and a Professional Development service to assist local artists with disabilities market themselves and their artwork and/or connecting them with other resources to further expand their talents and opportunities.
