Art Beyond Boundaries is an administrator of the Audio Description Service in the state of Ohio. This service provides equipment and describers to venues interested in accommodating the needs of spectators with visual disabilities. With the use of an assistive listening device, individuals with visual disabilities can hear a live description of the sets, costumes, movements and expressions of the performers, enabling them to fully experience the show or event. The descriptions are delivered through a system of self-contained, electronic transmitters and trained describers.
