As a service, Art Beyond Boundaries provides technical consultation to assist venues in ensuring their programs and facilities are accessible to people with all types of disabilities. This service benefits venues, agencies and individuals with disabilities.

This service provides venues with suggestions for physical and programmatic modifications to improve accessibility. Making a venue more accessible results in a higher rate of customer satisfaction and higher sales from families and friends of people with disabilities, who can now attend together. For example, physical improvements could include addition of handrails, ramps, and handicapped accessible bathrooms. Programmatic improvements could range from providing interpreters to offering a wider variety of programs with different degrees of participation. With this knowledge, venues are able to more easily design future programs, exhibits, etc. accessible to all.
 
Agencies can more easily provide their clients with the opportunity to experience the arts with the assurance that they will be less likely to face accessibility barriers.

Individuals with disabilities can thrive through art and cultural events that would otherwise not be possible due to lack of or insufficient physical and/or programmatic accessibility. In addition, when venues make improvements, all people can more easily enjoy the rich arts and culture of Cincinnati with family and friends.
