Stacey Dolen is a multimedia artist whose work is rooted in drawing and sculpture, and observation of nature. She has recently expanded into digital media with experiments in digital prints. The prints, including her series Reeds, Branches and Flowers, celebrate the variety and complexity of organic forms.

In addition to these nature-inspired images, Dolen has produced Skinscapes, a body of work exploring the terrain of human skin. Metalworks: Revisited and Reconfigured is based on photographs of her biomorphic sculpture in steel, brass and copper. And finally, with Digital Drawings, Dolen invents new anatomical forms in a wide-ranging palette. “Sculpting” in a digital space by manipulating her own organic imagery has allowed Dolen to expand her work in new directions.
