VELMA MORRIS'S ARTWORK (JOYFUL NOISE)

ART BEYOND BOUNDARIES

Joyful Noise by Velma Morris (canvas oil painting)

Viewing Velma Morris’ “Joyful Noise”, it is difficult to look away. The intense, bright colors of the painting almost instantly catch the viewer’s eye. The people in the artwork are all singing and appear to be in a state of pure joy. Morris has said that the painting is meant to depict the power of music to bring people together.

The painting is oil on canvas and is currently on display at the ABB Gallery. It is one of the center’s most popular paintings, and it is easy to see why. The painting is a beautiful example of Morris’ talent as an artist.
